The GBC Foundation is a charitable organization comprised of Members of The Georgian Bay Club, and has been established to provide a means of “giving back” to the local community by raising funds annually, which contribute to the health and well-being of our community. Over $500,000 has been raised in the first six years of the Foundation's existence, by GBC Members and their friends, to assist our local hospitals and other local organizations.
The Georgian Bay Club Foundation’s Sixth Annual Golf Event was held on Friday August 14, 2009 and was a great success, raising over $100,000. Thanks to all who played in the event, participated in the on-course activities and the silent and live auctions, and thank you to the lead sponsors - Pace Savings and Credit Union and TD Canada Trust. Thank you, also, to our stalwart volunteers and the staff of The GBC. We look forward to seeing Members and guests at next year's tournament.
The 7th Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner & Auction Event will be held at the Club on Friday, August 13, 2010.
